WIPs update

Time for some updated photos!  I’ve been working mostly on the socks. I’ve completed both gussets (took the photo before that) and am on the home stretch to the toes. I love this part. I even love kitchener stitch. Love it all.

The project I pick up when I tire of socks is Clapotis #2. I added two repeats to this pattern so it will generously cover my elbows without my having to block it. This is a cozy knit and good for TV vegging.

And finally, Wicked. I won’t knit any further on this one until I try it on, and I’ve been procrastinating taking it off the needles to do so. But trying it on will motivate me to finish the sweater….

Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Worsted

I just have flashbacks of trying on Sahara last year after I had connected front to back beneath the armholes and finding out I had to rip out the entire thing and reknit in another size. I’d like never to do that again. But better to rip out half a sweater than the whole thing because it doesn’t fit.

I’m knitting this week against my better judgment because I injured myself further somehow by knitting too much and am having all sorts of misery in my forearms, neck, and back. So I’ve got to lay off (not likely), or at least take it more slowly (maybe).
