FO: Noro scarf

I finished this simple diagonal garter-stitch scarf a couple of days ago. As much as I love the stunning Noro colors (colorway 87), I will not knit with Noro Silk Garden again. This scarf is a little scratchy even after washing it, so I’ll have to wear it underneath a collar or lapel so it doesn’t touch my skin. Also, knitting with Silk Garden is tough on my forearms.
Romi approves, though.

As I write this, he is sleeping between my arms with his head on one of my forearms. Somehow he doesn’t seem to mind my arm movement as I type. It’s a little comical if you just watch his head bobbing around.
Maybe this rescue kitty derives comfort from the rhythms. He is definitely my writing buddy, although I think he makes writing a little more difficult because I am always reaching around him to type.
Here’s a closeup of those luscious Noro colors:
Yummy, no?
I am looking at my completed Britannia sweater again. I finished it months ago and am now contemplating some revisions to enhance its fit, which is pretty blocky if you just follow the pattern. I did follow the pattern because it was my first sweater, but I think I can do a couple of things even now to help this sweater out.

Cute cat! I avoid Noro too for the same reason. It looks beautiful but is itchy to wear. Mine also had knots in the yarn.
