The pinching worked to keep the stitch pattern visible. And the cat even stayed off of the drying scarf. He stepped carefully over it, sat down and glared at it. But he didn’t flatten it.
The finished product:
I will not choose Malabrigo in the future if I want to retain stitch definition. But I needed to use this hank of Malabrigo and scarves don’t need washing very often, so all is well.
