Bunny business

Lovely day today. I looked out my window and saw a young bunny in the front yard. So I opened the front door to get some photos, and the cat got out. Romi is an indoor cat, so I had to go after him and corrall him back inside. When the bunny saw the cat, the bunny hunkered down and froze.
Fortunately, Romi-the-cat was so astonished he had escaped that he never even saw the bunny. I cajoled the cat back into the house, took another photo of the bunny with the door ajar — during which the cat escaped again – and finally got the cat inside and left the bunny alone before he got irreversibly traumatized.
Meet Young-Bunny-From-the-Front-Lawn:

He sees me:

He makes a couple of hops, spies the cat and freezes, ears down and body flattened. (Notice he has found the only patch of sunlight on our front lawn).

After both cat and bunny are safe, I finally get some photos of the finished Clapotis shawl.

With a hair pick as a shawl anchor:

I blocked this shawl larger than the pattern called for because I’m somewhat tall (5′8″)and wanted it to cover my elbows. Yarn is Koigu KPPPM; color is P428.
We’ll be leaving for Minnesota on Thursday for my FIL’s 90th birthday. Airports and flights — an opportunity for uninterrupted knitting!

Gorgeous Clapotis! I’d love to know which yarn you used?
