Wild gift socks

At last these socks are done. The legs are a little long (the recipient can always fold them down) and the color is a little wild, but they are finished. I’m not trying them on for the camera because they are knit for smaller feet than mine.
Yarn is Cherry Tree Hill DK; color is Gypsy Rose. I didn’t realize the yarn was quite this bright when I bought it. The recipient will be wearing the socks indoors anyway, so maybe they’ll be her secret wild indulgence. At any rate, they’ll be comfy. Another FO—hurray!
I’ll be knitting one more pair of socks for Cliff, who still doesn’t have any hand-knitted socks. Then I’m done with socks for a while. If I knit them again, I will use worsted weight yarn so the knitting goes faster.
