Knitter’s ADD

Yeah, this is the last of the new projects I’ve recently begun. I like to switch up the knitting a lot and enjoy the different yarn colors. The various needle sizes help with my arm pain also.
I’ve begun this Wicked Sweater in Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Worsted, color Douglas Fir. It’s a top-down sweater and is working up nicely. I always enjoy knitting with Lorna’s Laces. I won’t be adding the front pocket from the pattern.

Here are my latest socks in Cherry Tree Hill DK, color Tropical Storm.

Love those colors. I’m knitting from one ball of yarn using four circular needles. I really don’t want to mess with two socks on two circulars, but I do like to keep both socks going at the same time.
I work the socks in sections, changing from one sock to the other at the end of each section. First is the ribbing, then the heel flap and turn, then the gusset decreases, then the rest of the sock. I get a little boost of satisfaction when I complete a section and move to the other sock, and that keeps me motivated to finish.
When I knit two socks at once with my Knitpicks Options interchangeable needles, I use the round cable ends to hold a sock on one cable while I work on the other sock. But the above socks are knit with size 3 needles, and Knitpicks doesn’t make those in interchangeables.
